CO.REALITY is an interactive music and arts festival that provides the audience member with a psychedelic that was mechanized specifically for the experience.The psychedelic is meant to enhance your visual and auditory experiences while unlocking parts of your subconscious. My animations display a complete alteration of the mind. The flashes and various colors show chaos against the solid black. The more choppy transitions between animations are meant to feel as if you were jumping from room to room, each filled with different visuals. There is an ominous sense of loneliness that presents itself in my video. With no one surrounding you it is easy to fall deep into the illusions being depicted. The darkness of the story comes from this state of feeling lost and alone deep within your mind. It juxtaposes the welcoming craziness that comes with a festival with how lonely your mind can feel. The loneliness comes through casting a single actor in the video. Time starts to become a question, and when it is all over it is as if nothing ever happened. At most it was a lucid dream. So, it happens again with no realizations that it ever happened in the first place. It is a festival of your lifetime. Your entire lifetime. Your subconscious loops itself around reality, constricting it until it is no longer there.
