DAYDREAM VIDEO CONCEPT

My video project concept looks into an exclusive and experimental music and arts festival. What makes this festival so exotic is the entry fee. To enter the festival, as well as experience it through the lense it was created for you have to take a psychedelic that was mechanized uniquely for the audio and visuals the festival contains. They advertise the experience as the best parts of the world coming to life, allowing the most positive aspects of your subconscious to become accessible. My video will begin as a clip of my character getting ready and then soon after that calling a ride to be escorted to the festival. The festival's exclusivity makes the location more hidden. To access the entry you follow a symbol that was marked in nearby locations. It leads to an underground entrance that can only be accessed by key sent in the invitation. Upon entering you are escorted by guards down a long narrow hallway. You hand over the invitation and in turn you are given the psychedelic meant to accompany the festival. It is necessary for the experience, so they make you take it before entering. The trip will start almost immediately. This is when my animations will be most present. A variety of sounds and trippy visuals will portray the experience. The last part of the video will jump back to ‘real life’, which will be my character waking up the next day in her home. The twist on this whole story is that the drug taken at the festival alters your mind to forget. My character has actually been attending this festival for over a week and has no recollection of ever going, until she finds the remains of a ticket(or photo) and realizes the truth.
